Emanuel Synagogue maintains burial facilities for its members and the wider Jewish community in two cemeteries in the Oklahoma City area:
Before 1937, Emanuel Synagogue's members bought burial plots in the consecrated section of Fairlawn Cemetery, which runs from NW 26th to NW 30th Streets between N Shartel and N Western Avenue. The entrance to this cemetery is on Shartel at 27th; the formal address is 2700 NW Shartel Avenue. The cemetery office (405-524-2559) can direct you to the Jewish section.

In 1937, we purchased our own cemetery in southwest Oklahoma City. Emanuel Hebrew Cemetery is located just south of Resthaven Gardens Cemetery (which is on SW 104th Street between S Western Avenue and S Walker Avenue). The entrance to Emanuel Hebrew Cemetery is off of S Western Avenue.
In addition to burial plots, Emanuel Synagogue offers mortuary and funeral services for the Jewish community, including a traditional Chevrah Kaddisha; see Burial Services for details.
